This place, whose name is due to the fact that this person, the son of a German immigrant and a Chilean woman as an Engineer, since 1936 made the railway line that connects several localities in the sector. This sector, such as Pinar del Rio or Hualpin are excellent starting points for Chinook fishing, it all depends on where the fish are already located during their lifts.

From this place we can make a stretch of approximately 22 kilometers per river, going down in wooden boats, very silent, or if you prefer we can make an inflatable boat with rigid floor and ultra quiet outboard motor. The fishing of trouts and salmonids is spectacular from November to December and again more spectacular from March to May, the month in which the season of closure in our rivers begins. You can not miss it !.
The season of trout and salmonids begins on the second Friday of the month of November and ends on the first Sunday of the month of May. There is still a long time to come and enjoy one of the best fishing in the world in the wonderful southern Chile.
Allipen River - Los Laureles

The sector of "Los Laureles" is a trip for a portion of the river allipen, normally it is a stretch of 35 kilometers to do it all day, the fishing is excellent since its cold waters coming from the thaw in the high mountain range of the Andes, are very suitable for the development of trout and salmonids. In this river, at the end of the season of Chinook, the trout feed on the floating eggs that the chinook leave in their spawning, and crustaceans of the river feed on the remains of the chinook that die after their great journey to reproduce in the top of the river. This ecosystem is great and therefore fishing in general is excellent for all modalities, fly fishing, trolling or launching.
